SCOTT UPRIGHT MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
One important aspect of our program is our scholarship program, which allows children from all socio-economic backgrounds to participate. The fund was created in honor of Scott Upright, who loved music of all kinds.

“He was a longtime friend and support of the Congressional Chorus -having sung as a performer, and as a graphic artist who contributed to programs and other marketing materials. Music was an important part of Scott’s life and the American Youth Chorus will help expose the next generation to the beauty and importance of music in our lives. Scott was very committed to the arts and the Scott Upright Memorial Scholarship Fund is a fitting tribute to his memory.”
